Christ Over Islam and Secularism

Worried about Trump?  It’s a waste of worrying. You should be far more concerned about Marxism and Islam. And unless things shift, Marxism will exhaust itself, leaving Islam on top.

Between America’s Puritan fathers and the influence of Christian traditions that celebrated holy days, the latter largely won out, with no small help from commercial interests. But the influence of unbelieving Modernism, partially in and with the mainline denominations, produced an attempt to secularize the holidays and evacuate them of any Christian meaning. Walk into any retail outlet this Christmas and listen to hear if there’s any mention of Christ in the music playing. They want Him to be as much a myth as Santa Claus.

But secularism ultimately is weak. Islam is increasing. We don’t want to offend, and, well, they have money to spend. “Look, you can believe whatever you want to believe…in private. Just don’t cost us money.” Either money is king, or Jesus is King. It can’t be both. Money can only ultimately exist as the servant of Christ. Acts 16 looms large here.

The secularist tries to live in the fantasy that Islam can be defeated by the gospel of commerce. But there is only one King, one Savior, and one Gospel. If He will not be honored by business interests, He will give them over to the judgment they deserve.
