Concerning the death of Rob Reiner and his wife Michele, and President Trump’s comments on Truth Social

I support the president when he’s right, and critique him when he’s wrong. True class isn’t weakness. I think of David honoring Saul in his death, even after all that Saul had put him through. True, the power dynamic was different, but that should make it all the more important. Punch up, yes, but do not punch down. I’m sure Trump feels that he is punching up, against the years-long prevailing Democratic establishment. But he’s the president. What more can one ask?

Who are the People in your Neighborhood?

 This is not meant to disparage anybody involved in the Erika Kirk – Candace Owens controversy. But it’s bizarre that so many people who do not know and probably will never meet either one of them are so involved in it. For most folks, it is merely a soap opera and a spectator sport. And the consequence of that is simply that people end up more hurt as a result. Are you personally involved in the lives of any of these people? If not, the best thing you can do is to let it go and do something else with your life. Focus on God and your neighbor, not people whose paths you will never cross.
